The beginning of Kankodo Gallery’s story is in the city of Meguro, Tokyo since 1995.
The gallery has been offering fine quality of Japanese and Chinese antiques.

When we just launched the gallery, we frequently participated the antique exhibitions
which were held at famous department stores such as Tokyu Shibuya store,
Matsuya Ginza store, Keio department Shinjuku store and so on.

In 2011, the gallery was relocated to the city of Nihonbashi and there was Takashimaya Nihonbashi,
one of the most famous department stores in Tokyo on the same street.

As an experienced dealer in the industry, we acquired many experience of dealing
with world top auction houses such as Christie’s, Sotheby’s, Poly Auction and China Guardian Auction.
What is more, we have participated to International Antiques Fair in Hong Kong from the very beginning.

The gallery is going to start a new chapter in April of 2022 in Kyobashi which is known as the sacred ground of Antiques.
For this opportunity, we are going to accept commission sales from loyal customers and exhibit the works.
We are hoping the gallery would become a gallery as a platform of art and cultural studies.
